Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What kind of training does Pathwize Driving offer?
A: Pathwize Driving provides structured online driver education combined with one‑on‑one in‑car lessons, focusing on safe habits, road‑test readiness, and real‑world driving skills.
Q: Do you offer in‑class sessions at a physical location?
A: No. All theory components are delivered online so students can learn at their own pace from home, then complete scheduled in‑car lessons on the road.
Q: Which areas do you serve?
A: We currently serve students in Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Waterdown, Dundas, Binbrook, and Burlington for in‑car lessons and road‑test preparation.
Q: In which language are courses and lessons delivered?
A: Our online content, communication, and in‑car instruction are offered in English only. Students should be comfortable learning and communicating in English to enroll.
Q: Do you provide payment plans or pay‑over‑time options?
A: No. Course and lesson fees are due in full at the time of registration. This helps us keep pricing clear and straightforward for all students.
Q: How do I register for a course or lesson package?
A: You can register online through our Registration page by selecting your location, preferred service type, and package. Once your registration and payment are submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with next steps.
Q: What is required before I can start in‑car lessons?
A: Students must hold the appropriate valid Ontario licence (for example, G1 before beginning supervised on‑road lessons) and must bring it to every lesson as required by provincial regulations.
Q: How long do I have to complete my course?
A: For structured online driver education, students are generally expected to complete theory and in‑car components within twelve months of registration, in line with common BDE program standards in Ontario.
Q: Can I use your vehicle for my road test?
A: Yes. Certain packages include the use of a school vehicle for the road test at the local test centre, subject to availability and prior booking.
Q: What is your cancellation policy for in‑car lessons?
A: We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an in‑car lesson. Lessons cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be charged as a full lesson according to our Terms and Conditions.
Q: Are course fees refundable?
A: Refunds are available only in specific circumstances and may be subject to administrative fees. Requests must comply with the timelines and conditions outlined in our Terms and Conditions page.
Q: How will I receive proof that I completed the program?
A: After successfully completing all required components, your completion is recorded and you may obtain official confirmation (such as a Driver’s Licence History record) through ServiceOntario as per provincial guidelines.
